Job Title: Executive Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Program Director, this position provides all administrative support to the Program Director.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
70% Provides administrative support for Program Director, maintaining high-level confidentiality on all matters, including matters relative to the management team;
Handles travel arrangements, outlook calendar and schedule for Director and all correspondence.
20% Assists in preparation of materials for internal and external presentations.
10% Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
This employee must be able to safeguard confidential information and possess the ability to work well independently with minimal direction in a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to this position. Good interpersonal and strong organizational skills are needed, along with accuracy and attention to detail. A proactive, optimistic learning attitude is appreciated.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree; 4 -5 years executive level support; a high degree of competency in, at least, the Microsoft Office 2000 Suite with a focus on Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience in learning new software and comfortable using the Internet as a research tool.
